FROM POOR FARMWORKERS TO HIGH-INCOME EARNERS

STEVE'S MESSAGE

I have a small not-for-profit Foundation in Phnom Penh Cambodia supporting poor girls from the poorest provinces in Cambodia to empower them to gain a university degree in Phnom Penh Cambodia, Studying at https://num.edu.kh/web/web/num/home we are always in need of support in the way of funding to continue this project.

We are a fully transparent organization with all information on our website www.c4corganization.org

HOW IT WORKS

Chances 4  Cambodia was initially an idea that resulted from a casual meeting between myself and Fabian Emmen in Thailand, both of us thinking of ways that we could help poor disadvantaged  girls from the provinces to a better life through education, we decided that a University degree would be the best way to achieve this and as I was living in Cambodia this would be where we would initiate this project.

In 2008 we started to register Chances4Cambodia as an International NGO, but with all of the requirements necessary this was then changed to C4cOrganisation and register as a Local NGO which we have completed. With a special MoU with the University of Management in Phnom Penh all of our students study there. Our bottom line is to empower disadvantaged rural girls to gain University education qualifications in Phnom Penh Cambodia, we pay tuition fees for the full 4 years of study, there is no interest and no requirement for the student to repay these fees, however parents and family are advised to assist their student during the study period. The graduated student is  expected (once they are financially able) to support C4C by depositing donations into the C4COrganisation ABA Bank account No. 007-186-735, this will enable C4c to sponsor additional disadvantaged students in Cambodia, C4COrganization Cambodia relies on the support of generous donors, volunteers, and the involved sponsored students themselves.

To enhance the prospects of graduates receiving employment we actively canvas large businesses, employment agencies, and government institutions to recognize C4C Graduates as high-quality candidates for employment.
